The Conscience Works digital library is a result of many years of collaboration, research, writing and teaching begun by Dr. Barbara Stilwell and Dr. Matthew Galvin, both Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, and Dr. Mark Kopta, a psychologist at the University of Evansville.
This site and the works that it publishes, is maintained by the Indiana University Conscience Project. The Project meets quarterly and has evolved over the years to actively engage in several areas of inquiry and research--including moral development, conscience education, conscience in medical ethics, and, broadly, conscience as a topic in the medical humanities.
